Howard
Director
Crystal Howard became the new Executive Director of the BNACVB in
December 2002 and has led the staff in establishing Bloomington
Normal as a premiere market for Sports, Tourism and conventions.
Howard has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry including
eight in a Convention and Visitors Bureau office.

Suzie
Hinthorn
Tourism
& Special Events Marketing Manager
Suzie Hinthorn is the BNACVB Tourism and Special Events Manager. Her
duties include coordinating marketing efforts to attract all leisure
tourism into the Twin Cities. This includes group or motorcoach
travel to festivals and special events.
Hinthorn joined the staff in December 2003 after previously working
in the sales department at The Chateau. Suzie is a 2002 graduate of
Eastern Illinois University and resides in Bloomington with her husband,
AJ, and their beagle, Nala.

Jill
Bernahl
Convention
Marketing Manager
Jill Bernahl is the BNACVB Convention Marketing Manager. Her duties
include the coordination, development and implementation of a marketing
plan targeted primarily at meeting planners.
Jill joined the staff in December 2002 after serving as the Sales
Manager at the Holiday Inn Brandywine in Peoria and is a Loras College
graduate.
Jill lives in Normal with her husband Jeremy and two cats: "Frank
and Gilbert".

Jeff
Creek
Sports
Marketing Manager
Jeff Creek is the BNACVB Sports Marketing Manager and heads the Bloomington-Normal
Area Sports Commission. Jeff works with the IHSA, ASA Softball, Illinois
State, Illinois Wesleyan and others to attract and retain sports events
in the Twin Cities.
Jeff graduated from Watseka High School in 1992 before pursuing his
bachelors of science degree at Millikin University, which he received
in 1996. After receiving a masters degree in sports management from
Illinois State University in 1998, he spent the past five years as
the IHSA Administrative Specialist where he coordinated the Add A.
Tude sportsmanship campaign and special events. He joined the staff

Amanda
Johnson
Group Services Manager
Amanda
Johnson is the most recent addition to BNACVB. Since December 2004,
she has been working to provide a wide variety of services for groups
and events coming to Bloomington-Normal. With a degree in Marketing
from Illinois State University, Amanda has created a comfortable environment
for many visitors by providing information about events and offering
suggestions of other services.
Amanda is originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, but she
plans on staying in the area for years to come. When she is not busy
learning about the different visitors to Bloomington-Normal, she uses
her own spare time making pottery and being with her boyfriend.

Bill
Klingbeil
Communications Manager
Bill Klingbeil is the BNACVB Communications Manager and is in charge
of designing the annual visitors guide, calendar of events and advertisements
the Bureau produces each year. He joined the staff in December 2002.
Bill came to the BNCVB after operating his own PR firm, BK3 Public
Relations. The company's focus was in Motorsports Marketing and he
worked with several high profile clients. Bill also spent time with
Bradley University where he was the Campus Visit Coordinator from
1996 to 1998. He is a 1993 graduate of Southern Illinois University
in Carbondale and resides in Normal with his wife Kim, their son Mack,
and daughter Kate.

Yvonne
Kelley
Business Manager
Yvonne Kelley is the BNACVB Business Manager and is in charge of coordinating
all of the funding. She has spent a great deal of her life as a Military
spouse moving all across the country.
She has lived in Bloomington with her family since 1996.
