| January 03, 2008 Discovery Day Camps - Pioneer Day - Join us at the Children’s Discovery Museum for a day filled with fun! All Day Camps will be centered on a theme and will include various hands-on activities, Museum exploration and snack. Camp will last from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your child or pre-order an Avanti’s lunch from the Museum for $4. Avanti’s lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked potato chips, cup of applesauce, and an apple juice. Did you ever wonder what it would be like to live during the 1800’s? We will be exploring the lives of the pioneers and doing some hands on activities and games. Upper Limits Holiday Classes - Did you ever wonder how Santa learned to climb those chimneys? Upper Limits Rock Climbing Gym will be offering special class times over the Holidays for adults and families to take an introductory climbing class. Kids 14 and under must take the class with an adult. Call Upper Limits for the Holiday class schedule at 309-829-8255. Reservations and a deposit are required for all classes. | ||||||
