| February 29, 2008 Discovery Day Camps - Health and our Heart - Join us at the Children’s Discovery Museum for a day filled with fun! All Day Camps will be centered on a theme and will include various hands-on activities, Museum exploration and snack. Camp will last from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your child or pre-order an Avanti’s lunch from the Museum for $4. Avanti’s lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked potato chips, cup of applesauce, and an apple juice. Did you know that February is Heart Awareness Month? We will be doing various activities that focus on how to keep our heart and bodies healthy! IHSA Girls Class AA Basketball State Finals - The top 8 girls high school basketball teams from across the state will compete on February 22-23, 2008, at Illinois State University's Redbird Arena for the 2008 State Title.
