| March 21, 2008 Homeschool - Pizza Science - These two hour, drop-off programs are designed to stimulate a child’s interest in a specific topic with age-appropriate, hands-on activities. Cost includes program, snack and Museum exploration for one child. Program cost: Museum passholder $10/non-passholder $13. Age: 9-13 Discovery Day Camps - AgMazing Agriculture - Join us at the Children’s Discovery Museum for a day filled with fun! All Day Camps will be centered on a theme and will include various hands-on activities, Museum exploration and snack. Camp will last from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your child or pre-order an Avanti’s lunch from the Museum for $4. Avanti’s lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked potato chips, cup of applesauce, and an apple juice. Did you know that this week is National Agriculture week? We will celebrate by exploring in our very on AgMazing exhibit in addition to a variety of hands-on activities in the classroom. Chamber Orchestra Concert - The Illinois State University Chamber Orchestra is a smaller, more select, ensemble that performs music from the baroque, early classical, and contemporary periods.
