| March 28, 2008 Discovery Day Camps - Storybook Adventures - Join us at the Children’s Discovery Museum for a day filled with fun! All Day Camps will be centered on a theme and will include various hands-on activities, Museum exploration and snack. Camp will last from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your child or pre-order an Avanti’s lunch from the Museum for $4. Avanti’s lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked potato chips, cup of applesauce, and an apple juice. Today we will be reading some of our favorite books and doing activities based upon those books. We will even start writing our very own story! El Vez - A ticket to see El Vez is a ticket to an experience. The self-proclaimed “Mexican Elvis” combines Elvis's songs, Latin themes, and a virtuosic sampling of American pop culture into a high-energy concert that would have exhausted the King himself.
