Projectile Motion Camp - 4th-8th Grades - Kids, here is your chance to fling things, catapult things, build things and test things. Join the ISU Physics Club and Children's Discovery Museum staff as we learn the basic physics behind projectile motion, calculate range, build a mini trebuchet and more. Cost includes camp, snack, and drink. Program cost: $60 passholder/$70 non-passholder. Payment must accompany registration. 24-hour cancellation required for credit.

High School Musical Revue 2nd-4th Grades - THe High School Musical phenomenon has hit the Children's Discovery Museum! Be ready to sing, dance, and do scenes from Disney's High School Musical in our summer theatre workshops. Learn dance routines, characterization, theatre terminology, scene work, as well as sound and set design, as we interpret this great musical for parents and the community as we take the show on the road. The camp includes two walking 1/2 day fieldtrips. Family, friends, and community performance will be held at 7 p.m. the final night of camp. Bring lunch/drink for each day or order an Avanti's sack lunch. Avanti's sack lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked chips, applesauce and milk for $4.00. Payment must accompany registration. 24-hour cancellation required for credit. Cost: $115 passholder/$135 non-passholder

Concerts on the Quad - 10th Annual Jazz Festival. Enjoy music under the summer stars. Free Admission; bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

McLean County Historical Society Annual Meeting - July 16, 18 and 20, 2007 Session II - Gifted History Careers Day Camp. Open to students entering 4th, 5th and 6th grades in the fall, this camp explores the history-related careers of archaeology, art history and architecture and environmental science. Registration is through the Heartland Community College’s Youth Enrichment Program. Contact www.heartland.edu/communityEd for fees and forms – registration limited to 30 students per session.
