Harry Potter Midnight Release Party - The countdown is on for the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows at the Children’s Discovery Museum. The Museum has worked its magic and you can purchase your book and celebrate at the most magical place in town! Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character! Try your hand at Potions, stop by Ollivander’s and select your magic wand, enjoy magical arts and crafts, taste test some Bertie Bott’s every flavor beans, plus other magical surprises through out the evening. We will test your knowledge with our very own Trivia Hunt and you will enjoy some magical Hogwart’s inspired midnight treats. Advanced Registration and Payment (non refundable) REQUIRED by July 14. Projectile Motion Camp - 4th-8th Grades - Kids, here is your chance to fling things, catapult things, build things and test things. Join the ISU Physics Club and Children's Discovery Museum staff as we learn the basic physics behind projectile motion, calculate range, build a mini trebuchet and more. Cost includes camp, snack, and drink. Program cost: $60 passholder/$70 non-passholder. Payment must accompany registration. 24-hour cancellation required for credit.
