| July 29, 2007 Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical. For more information call 309-663-2121 or visit www.communityplayers.org Hummingbird Festival & Pollination Celebration - Join us as we celebrate hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees! Attend seminars led by enthusiastic experts on hummingbirds at 11am & 1pm and butterflies and moths at noon and 2pm. Go bee-tracking (an old time hobby) with our resident bee keeper. Watch a pollination puppet show at 10:30am, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm. Make a hummingbird feeder or native bee nesting structure to take home. Tour our gardens and learn butterfly identification! The Illinois Audubon Society will be banding hummingbirds from 3-6pm. Learn all about this valuable research tool and see ruby-throated hummingbirds up-close! Visitors will have the opportunity to adopt a hummingbird and release one of the banded birds. Plus, we'll have vendors with everything hummingbird including feeders, flags, finger puppets, pottery, perennials and herbs, and lots of garden decor! Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Bloomington Parks & Recreation's Miller Park Summer Theatre presents the play "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The public is invited to this free event. ASA 14U National Softball Tournament - 132 Teams from across the country will compete in the ASA 14U Softball National Championship, July 29 - August 5 at Champion Fields in Normal. Pool play takes place July 30-31 and double elimination begins on August 1. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, August 5 at 3:00 pm.
