| August 17, 2007 Magic School Bus Camp - 1st-6th Grades - Come and join the Children's Discovery Museum as we begin an adventure in science exploration through the Magic School Bus series. Each day we will focus on a few Magic School Bus books and will be doing activities based upon the themes from the books. Some of the books we will be exploring include: Lost in the Solar System, At the Waterworks, Inside the Human Body, Electric Field Trip, Science Fair Expedition, and many, many more! Cost includes camp, snack, and drink. Bring sack lunches or order Avanti's for lunch. Avanti's sack lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked chips, applesauce and milk for $4.00. Program cost: $130 passholder/$150 non-passholder. Payment must accompany registration. 24-hour cancellation required for credit. Cultural Festival - The annual Cultural Festival continues to provide the community with an event that incorporates a wide variety of entertainment, food and community service while incorporating elements from various world cultures. World Tour 2007 - World Tour 2007 will be a fun evening of tasting a variety of food, beer and wine from all over the globe. The best part of this event is not the food, drink, or the fun; it’s the cause. World Tour is just one of the many exciting events hosted each year by the OSF St. Joseph Foundation, the philanthropic arm of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. This year’s World Tour will take place in the Atrium of Eastland Medical Plaza I on Friday, August 17, 2007; from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person.
