Illinois State University’s Milner Library is hosting the traveling exhibit “Forever Free: Abraham Lincoln’s Journey to Emancipation.” In conjunction will this exhibit the Museum will display Lincoln-related items in the display case outside the Library. The OCA-Central Illinois Chapter is hosting a series entitled "Honoring the Past, While Challenging the Future"; join us for an enlightening evening on Asian Pacific American History as Mr. William Yoshino, Midwest Director of JACL, discusses the Japanese American Internment Experience and also covers parts of the Asian American historical experience to give context to the internment, along with the Executive Order 9066 signed in 1942.
