| October 08, 2007 ISU Homecoming Blood Drive: Give the Red & Spread the Red - Illinois State University's Peer Educators and the Wellness Program are sponsoring a blood drive on Monday October 8th. AfriCaribe Drumming & Dance - AfriCaribe is a performance group that is dedicated to the preservation, research, promotion, and development of the Puerto Rican and Caribbean cultures. Performance focuses on the music, song, and dance of Puerto Rico that reflects the African influence on the island. Sponsored by Diversity Advocacy, Association of Latin American Students, Black Student Union, Caribbean Student Association, and the School of Music. Admission is free. Discovery Day Camps at the Children's Discovery Museum - All About Fall - Join us at the Children’s Discovery Museum for a day filled with fun! All Day Camps will be centered on a theme and will include various hands-on activities, Museum exploration and snack. Camp will last from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your child or pre-order an Avanti’s lunch from the Museum for $4. Avanti’s lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of baked potato chips, cup of applesauce, and an apple juice.
