BAND CONCERT: BANDARAMA - The Pride of Illinios State University, THE BIG RED MARCHING MACHINE, will perform a sit down concert comprised of all music from its 2007 season. The band will also take time to honor its graduating seniors.

This year the Band is under the direction of Assistant Director of Bands and Marching Band Director, Dr. Daniel A. Belongia as well as Drum Majors Kelly Simon (graduating senior), Tiffany Toennies (graduating senior), Jaclyn Wessol (junior), Katie Vasel (senior), and various graduate assistants.

Sammy Hagar in Concert - Tickets for the “Sammy Hagar and the Wabos” concert at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington are on sale at the box office, 101 S. Madison Street, or on-line at www.uscellularcoliseum.com. Tickets also can be purchased by calling 1-866-891-9992 or at 309-434-2679.

Hagar, the rock-and-roll Hall of Famer and former Van Halen front man, will perform at the Theater at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. It will be Hagar’s only appearance in Central Illinois.

Tickets are $35 and $45 and a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $65 (additional charges may apply). The show will open with former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, who will perform a number of Van Halen tunes from Hagar’s era.


New Wheels for Kevin Fundraiser - - a fundraiser to bridge the gap between Medicare and private insurance and the cost of his first new wheelchair in 16 years!!!!

Kevin Schaefer was paralyzed in a diving accident in 1991. He and his wife run their own business. They are contributing to the cost of the chair. The new chair will help prevent pressure sores.
