VETERAN'S DAY BIG BAND DANCE - Come Dance the night away to live music performed by Illinois State University's Jazz Ensembles I, II, and III under the direction of Dr. Tom Marko.

IHSA Girls Volleyball State Finals - The IHSA Class 1A-4A Volleyball State Finals return to Normal's Redbird Arena for the weekend of November 9-10, 2007. The top 4 teams from each class will compete for the State Title. For more information, call 309.663.6377.

Discovery Bunch - Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dav Pilkey - Gather around for story time and hands-on learning! This program is designed for children ages 3-5 years old and their adult partner. Cost includes program, snack and Museum exploration for one adult and one child. Program cost: $8 Museum passholder/$11 non-passholder. Payment must accompany registration. 24-hour cancellation required for credit.

What happens when a group of students take a field trip to the turkey farm? We’ll find out and we will be making some turkey crafts of our own!

Teacups traveled through time and became family treasures to be passed down and admired for generations. Come to tea and learn all about the era of elegant china and teatime rituals. Orchesis Intercity Dance Concert - I am a student at UHigh and would like to post the following event:
The Orchesis Intercity Dance Company presents its fall concert this Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10, at 7 PM in Stroud Auditorium. Tickets are $8 general admission,$5 for students and seniors and will be available at the door. More than 40 students from area high schools are involved in this production of student choreographed dances.

"Forever Fingerprintsˇ± is an amazing discovery of adoption geared towards children. Families are invited to attend this reading, there will be refreshments and activities for children
