| November 11, 2007 Native American Celebration at Miller Park Zoo - Native American Celebration at Miller Park Zoo Date of Event: 11-11-2007 Time of Event: 01:00pm Description: Sunday, November 11 from 1-3:00 pm, Native American Celebration: Join us for a glimpse into the lives of Native Americans & their relationship with animals. There will be an educational talk by a Native American, dressed in authentic regalia and Kristy Raines, author of Grizzer the Goofy Wolf, will be doing a book signing and talk about wolves. Veteran's Day Ceremony - Sunday November 11, 2007 Join the Museum, WILL-TV and the American Legion Louis E. Davis Post 56 for a Veteran's Day Ceremony. Meet extraordinary men and women who served in WWII. Engage in panel discussion with moderator, Greg Koos and view a segment of Ken Burn's film, The War. Ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m. outside the Museum with the remainder of the program to be held in the historic Gov. Fifer Courtroom. This event is free and open to the public.
