Illinois’ Sundown Towns: A Conversation with Jim Loewen
Date: September 13, 2007
Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
Location: McLean County Museum of History

Jim Loewen, best selling historian and sociologist, and the McLean County Museum of History invite the community to attend an informal conversation about Loewen's book, "Sundown Towns".

The book addresses issues of racism in the United States in the form of sundown towns, or communities where non-Caucasians— especially African Americans—are systematically excluded from living in or passing through.
