EDP Renewables North America LLC and its subsidiaries develop, construct, own and operate wind farms throughout North America. EDPR NA has developed more than 3,700 megawatts (MW) and operates over 3,500 MW of wind farms, including the Twin Groves Wind Farm located in the wind-swept Bloomington Moraine in eastern McLean County. The Twin Groves Wind Farm offers 396 MW of affordable, pollution-free wind energy, enough to meet the annual energy needs of about 118,000 homes. Groups of ten or more can learn more about the facility with a guided tour that begins at the Twin Groves Lookout Visitor Area.
