An epic clash of ideas, a national debate, a nation divided, the genesis of an American icon: Playwright Norman Corwin's electric dramatization of the series of debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas brings an era to life and presents the very fulcrum on which American history would turn. The world-renowned L.A. Theatre Works brings this essential story home to the heartland on which a circuit lawyer turned politician found the voice that would lead him to change history.
