Carrie Rodriguez isnt the typical fiddle playing singer/songwriter. Schooled in classical violin at Bostons Berklee College of Music, Rodriguez has embraced the Tex-Mex roots of her father David Rodriguez. Her inventive songs, direct voice and versatility with fiddle, mandolin and tenor guitar bring a new and energetic approach to country-folk.
