The Honorable Raymond McKoski will shed new light on the remarkable career of Abraham Lincolns good friend, Judge David Davis, during a free program Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the ISU Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main St., Normal, Illinois. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the center.
In his presentation, entitled The Hallmark of a Judge: Unwavering Impartiality, Judge McKoski will explore how David Davis earned and maintained a reputation for judicial fairness in spite of his well-known personal and political relationships, especially with his favorite, Abraham Lincoln. The program is open to the public and presented as the David Davis Mansion Foundations annual community education offering
