Try your hand at organic printmaking! Let's explore the process of printmaking using plant matter as our tool to transfer ink to paper. With the help of a small traveling press, we will create monotypes by coloring plants, designing them on a background, and flattening them through the press to transfer the ink onto a sheet of paper. The resulting print will be a bright and playful spin on traditional botanical illustrations. Join us! Cost includes program and museum admission for registered child. Min 10/Max 16 Payment must accompany registration. 72-hour cancellation required for credit. Registration deadline 1 week prior to program. 8-12 years old
