Educators at the Children's Discovery Museum are now official Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselors. The Culture and Arts Workshop combines Indian Lore and Art Merit Badges. Scouts will discover how local American Indian tribes once lived. We will examine artifacts and replicas of real tools and materials, play traditional American Indian games plus learn sign language and more. Through several art mediums, Scouts will explore their own artistic abilities. Each boy will create a variety of masterpieces with paint, pastels and other art media. Boys will learn about logo art and discuss careers in the art world.
