Redbird Arena Since 1989, Redbird Arena has served as the home of Illinois State University basketball and volleyball and, as its championship banners and retired jerseys overhead suggest, the epicenter of Illinois State's status as "The Home of Champions." Redbird Arena can be utilized for basketball, volleyball and cheerleading, and is currently home to the Illinois High School Association Girls Basketball and Volleyball State Championships.
Hancock Stadium For nearly four decades, Hancock Stadium has managed to maintain its 'old fashioned football' tradition of keeping the fans on top of the game while moving forward with continuing enhancements for those who play, coach or watch Redbird football.Hancock features a collegiate-size, fully lighted, artificial turf playing field and is home to the Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games.
Adelaide Street Field Well-manicured, lush, green Adelaide Street Field is the exclusive home for Redbird soccer. Located the west edge of the Redbird sports complex, it features all the comforts necessary for playing, coaching, watching or covering top-notch soccer.
Horton Fieldhouse Once primarily the home of Redbird basketball, it now provides a competitive venue for track and field, gymnastics and swimming while providing valuable and versatile practice space for virtually all 19 Illinois State sports. Horton is home to the Special Olympics Illinois Summer Basketball Tournament and State Farm Holiday Classic.
Redbird Baseball Field Moved to its present location in 1988, Redbird Field is currently in the northwest corner of the athletics complex and has a seating capacity of 1,500 and dimensions of 330 down the lines, 375 in the power alleys and 400 feet in center. Indoor practice facilities at Horton Field House are close to Redbird locker rooms, athletics training rooms and coaches offices. When the weather does not cooperate, Hancock Stadium's artificial turf is available as well.
Redbird Softball Complex The complex, which is located on the east side of Adelaide Street and adjacent to other athletics facilities, has a natural grass playing surface, lights, convenient parking, outstanding media facilities and excellent seating for fans. The move has Redbird softball closer to its lockerrooms, training facilities and offices.
