Offering a unique musical experience, the Prairie Fire Theater is a group dedicated to bringing professional, first-rate musical theater and light opera to the local community. Each year, Prairie Fire stages three to four musical events and has produced the works of such artists as Gilbert and Sullivan, Sondheim, and Gershwin. The majority of the Prairie Fire performances are held on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University, performed and directed by local talent.
