The University Golf Course is located near the northwest corner of the IllinoisStateUniversity campus. It was designed by golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris and opened for play in 1964. ISU Golf Course recently received a 3.5-star rating from Golf Digest’s “Places to Play.” The course features bent grass greens, tees and fairways, continuous cart paths from tee to green and strategically placed bunkers. University Golf Course has hosted IHSA Regional, Sectional and State Championships and NCAA Regional Championships.
