The Den at Fox Creek is an Arnold Palmer Signature designed golf course that opened in 1997. The 6,926-yard course, which includes bent grass tees, greens and fairways, features carts, club rentals, pro shop and snack bar, sports extra large greens on a rolling prairie terrain, with two double dog-leg par 5 holes. There are nine holes with water hazards, 131 sand traps, and a unique alternate shot, closing the 18th hole on this Par 72 course. Practice facilities include a large bent grass driving range and tees with practice chipping and putting greens. The course received a four-star rating from Golf Digest and has been named a “Top 100 Best Golf Bargain” by Maximum Golf magazine.


Highland Park

Located in South Bloomington, Highland Park Golf Course has numerous challenges including creeks, three lakes, well-placed sand traps, and tree-lined fairways. This 5,725-yard Par 70 is a great course for both the beginner and veteran golfer. A hilly terrain with a beautiful creek meandering through the holes makes this a very challenging and scenic golf course. The course includes a pro shop, carts, club rental, snack bar and offers individual or group lessons. Golf Digest Places to Play has given Highland Park a 3-star rating. We are certain that after playing this course, you will find it difficult to discover a better value than the one at Highland Park.


Illinois State University

The University Golf Course is located near the northwest corner of the Illinois State University campus. It was designed by golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris and opened for play in 1964. In July 2001 the course completed a major renovations project under the direction of Champions Tour Player, and Illinois State University alumnus, DA Weibring. The course features bent grass greens, tees, and fairways, continuous cart paths from tee to green, strategically placed bunkers, and a variety of tees for every skill level. The University Golf Course has hosted IHSA Regional, Sectional, and State Championships, NCAA Regional Championships, Intercollegiate Athletics home tournaments, the Country Youth Classic, and many charity and university community fundraiser's.


Ironwood

Ironwood Golf Course, owned and operated by the Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department, is a championship course that includes four water hazards and four sets of tees that range from 5,580 yards to 6,960 yards. Ironwood’s attributes, which include a grass tee driving range, large practice putting greens, a practice bunker, banquet room, pro shop, carts, and individual or group lessons, offers a challenging test of golf to players of all abilities. The 18-hole course, which opened in 1990, has hosted high school regional, sectional, and conference championship tournaments, numerous collegiate tournaments and also hosted state amateur qualification tournaments and state amateur senior tournaments.


Prairie Vista

Bloomington-Normal’s second Packard designed course, Prairie Vista is one of the most challenging in the Midwest. The 6,745-yard Par 72 received a 4 star rating in Golf Digest’s 2002-03 Places to Play. With 16 water hazards, a unique ‘wave bunker,’ numerous sand pots and unruly wind conditions which change with a moments notice, this 18-hole course plays differently every day. Prairie Vista sports two-level greens and fairways, lots of sand, lakes, rolling hills, pro-shop, carts, club rental, snack bar, banquet room and driving range. The course was the site of the 1997 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf East Regional, and it annually hosts the IHSA Class A Boy’s Golf State Championships in October.


Hazy Hills

Located in Hudson Illinois, this 9-hole golf course was built in 1975. It has bent grass greens, water hazards, a putting green, club rental, pull-car rental, teaching pro, a Pro Shop, and a snack bar. It is open to the public and is in season from April to November.
